BETO + VH

Description

Structural R4-class , thixotropic, fiber-reinforced, cement-based mortar, applied in a single layer from 3 to 40 mm thick, for repairing and smoothing concrete.

CLASSIFICATION

According to standard method EN 1504-3 (“Structural and non-structural repairs”) it is classified in class R4.

PRODUCT BASE

• Gray cement / Cement with fast drying;
• Quartz sand with defined granulometry;
• Contains hydrophobic agents;
• Enriched with synthetic resins as well as additives to improve the workability and strength of the product;

WHERE TO USE

• Structural repairing on internal and external horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces, concrete pillars and beams, corners, balcony edges and other surfaces and elements that require high mechanical performance;
• Suitable for repairing structures exposed to open air and in constant contact with water;
• Quick repairs on mortar and concrete surfaces which have defects, holes;
• Repairs of concrete columns damaged by mechanical force or earthquakes.

FEATURES

• Powder-based material: cement, quartz sand with selected granulometry, synthetic resins and special additives which, when mixed with water, provide a mixture that is easy to apply to the surface with a trowel;
• Adhesive strength and high mechanical resistance in concrete substrates;
• No vertical slip;
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications from 3 – 40 mm;
• It is characterized by high hydrophobicity;
• High resistance to carbonation and corrosion;
• High thermal resistance to freeze-thaw cycles;
• Has high stability and low risk of cracking.
